pig hunting

                                                      Pigs….

One night during the holidays my dads friend sent him a video of 3 pigs in the paddock 50 meters from his deck. So we wasted no time and put the 2 pups in the dog box and left. It took us 10 minutes to get there and before we had even pulled in the drive way we could see the pigs in the paddock. “I see them Cole” Dad said to me I was trying hard not to get my hopes up.

We started walking up the hill and the dogs took off and caught a little boar about 40 pound, Dad stuck it with his knife and the dogs were looking keen as. So I  walked up to the top of the ridge and looked down and  could only just see the 2 pups right on a bigger boar.  I turned around and yelled out to dad and as I did that I heard a few barks and then a squeal.

I raced down the gully about 300 meters and got to the pig in the mangroves and pushed thru the deep mud and grabbed its tail and then flipped it over, once it was flipped over i reached back for my knife and stuck the pig and then took the guts out and carried it back up to the house while dad went back and gutted the first pig. The second pig weighed in at 75 pound.

W.A.L.T- write a timeline about the treaty of waitangi.

I learnt that both the signed treaty’s were different languages,One was English and the other one was Maori.

I enjoyed finding out when things happend.
